Fever in Returning Traveler

Daniel Osei is a 34-year-old male presenting with high cyclical fevers with rigors, 10 days after returning from 3-week trip to ghana, west africa. I got back from Ghana about 10 days ago. I was there for three weeks visiting family. I spent the first week in Accra with my parents, then traveled up to the Volta Region to see my grandmother in a small village for about a week.
