Substance Use Counseling

Frank is a 45-year-old male presenting with 45 y/o m presents to discuss alcohol use at wife request. Patient drinks daily, typically 4-6 beers per night, more on weekends. Pattern has increased over past 2 years. Wife complains he is irritable, misses family events, and fell asleep at daughter recital. Routine follow-up, elevated liver enzymes. Use motivational interviewing.
