Strangulated Inguinal Hernia

OSCE Voice Station

Thomas Clark is a 62-year-old male presenting with painful irreducible groin lump with vomiting. I've had a lump in my right groin for about four years now. My GP told me it was a hernia and referred me to a surgeon, but I kept putting off the appointment because it wasn't bothering me that much. I could always push it back in when it popped out, and it would go away when I lay down. Your task is to take a focused history from this patient.
