Acute Abdominal Pain and Rigidity

Robert Kowalski is a 58-year-old male presenting with sudden onset severe abdominal pain for 4 hours, now diffuse with board-like rigidity. I was sitting in my recliner watching TV about four hours ago when all of a sudden I got this terrible pain right in the pit of my stomach. It felt like someone stabbed me with a hot knife. I doubled over and nearly fell out of my chair. Your task is to take a focused history from this patient.
