Pediatric Obesity Counseling

Lucas Rivera is a 11-year-old male presenting with 11-year-old boy, school nurse concerned about weight. The school nurse did a BMI check at school and sent a letter home saying Lucas is overweight and should be evaluated by his doctor. His BMI is above the 97th percentile for his age. I thought he just had baby fat that he'd grow out of. Your task is to take a focused history from this patient.
