Pediatric Acute Asthma

Emma Wilson is a 6-year-old female presenting with 6-year-old with wheezing and difficulty breathing for 6 hours. Emma started getting a cold about 3 days ago - runny nose, mild cough. This morning around 6 AM she woke up wheezing and coughing really hard. I gave her albuterol through her spacer and it helped a little bit, but within an hour the wheezing came back.
