Menopause Counseling

Diane Patterson is a 52-year-old female presenting with hot flashes and night sweats. I'm 52 years old, and for the past 8 months or so I've been having terrible hot flashes and night sweats. The hot flashes happen maybe 8 to 10 times a day — I suddenly feel this wave of heat starting in my chest and rising to my face, and I turn bright red and start sweating. Each one lasts a few minutes. Your task is to take a focused history from this patient.
