Withdrawn and Tearful Older Adult

Joan is a 76-year-old female presenting with 76 y/o f with low mood, withdrawal, poor sleep, and somatic and memory complaints. For the past several months I just haven't been myself. Ever since my husband died a year ago I've felt low, and lately it's worse. I've lost interest in everything, I wake at 4am and can't get back to sleep, my appetite is gone and I've lost weight, and I'm exhausted. Your task is to take a focused history from this patient.
