Infective Endocarditis

David is a 38-year-old male presenting with persistent fever for 3 weeks. About three weeks ago I started getting fevers. At first I thought it was just a cold or flu, but it never went away. The fevers come and go throughout the day — I'll feel okay in the morning and then by afternoon my temperature goes up to 101 or 102. Your task is to take a focused history from this patient.
