Gerald is a 52-year-old male presenting with high cholesterol discovered on routine blood work. I went in for a routine physical about two weeks ago and they drew my blood. The office called me back and said my cholesterol numbers were high and I needed to come in to discuss it. Honestly, I haven't had my cholesterol checked in probably 5 years.
