New Headache with Jaw Pain and Vision Changes
OSCE Voice Station
Eleanor is a 73-year-old female presenting with new right-temporal headache with jaw claudication and transient monocular vision loss. I'm a 73-year-old woman and for about a week I've had a constant, throbbing headache over my right temple, which is new for me — I don't get headaches normally. My jaw aches and gets tired when I chew, so I've been eating softer foods. Yesterday the vision in my right eye went completely dark for a few minutes, like a curtain dropping, then it came back; today I had a brief spell of double vision too. Your task is to take a focused history from this patient.
