Emma is a 17-year-old female presenting with 17 y/o f brought by mother for 25 lb weight loss over 4 months and restrictive eating. Mother reports daughter has lost significant weight over past 4 months. Patient restricts food intake, skips meals, exercises excessively. Counts calories obsessively and has eliminated entire food groups. Brought by parents for weight loss. Build rapport, assess severity, screen for complications.
