Wrist Injury After Fall

Susan is a 55-year-old female presenting with right wrist pain and deformity after falling on outstretched hand. About an hour ago I was walking out to my car and slipped on a patch of ice. I instinctively put my right hand out to catch myself and landed with my full weight on my palm with the wrist bent back. I felt an immediate sharp pain and heard a kind of crunch.
