Burning and Numbness in Feet

Raymond is a 58-year-old male presenting with burning and numbness in feet x 6 months, worse at night. 58-year-old male with type 2 diabetes for 12 years presents with 6-month history of progressive burning pain and numbness in both feet. Symptoms started in toes and have spread up to mid-calf. Worse at night, interfering with sleep. Your task is to take a focused history from this patient.
