Facial Pressure and Discolored Discharge

Doug is a 36-year-old male presenting with worsening facial pressure and purulent nasal discharge for 11 days, with a 'double worsening' course after a cold. I'm 36 and otherwise healthy. About two weeks ago I caught a cold — runny nose and some congestion. It started improving after five or six days, and I thought I was over it.
